I first started my guiding career in the Patagonian port city of Punta Arenas back in 2016. Nowadays, I specialize in guiding around Chile's capital city, Santiago, focusing on our local food due to my background as a professional chef after working in restaurants and hotels in my 15 years of living in the USA, and letting you appreciate our exquisite wine with in-depth knowledge of the best vineyards surrounding Santiago and the central valleys, such as Casablanca, Maipo and Colchagua. Whether you're seeking to enjoy some of the better known vineyards or are looking for a hand-crafted day at Chile's most exclusive wineries, trust me to know the perfect option for you! I really enjoy showing people the natural beauty, history, and local culture of Santiago so you have the opportunity to see it and perceive it as a local and, through that, connect with you in order to exchange experiences. ·7 years of experience as a Tour Guide in Santiago de Chile and its surroundings such as the port city of Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & wine Valleys. ·Graduated from the INACAP Culinary Institute with a minor in International Cuisine (was the best of my class!). ·Certified as a Community Interpreter in the National Qualified Certification Program for Business, Health, Education, and Human Services at Cross-Cultural Communications, Columbia, Maryland-USA. ·Currently partaking in first aid course at the Chilean Red Cross. I will not be driving in my tours, but I'll be able to provide a hired driver in a vehicle if necessary.

Maipo valley, located southeast of the city of Santiago, is one of the first valleys where wineries were shaped and grown. On this wine tour, you'll enjoy a beautiful and complex mixture of past and present wineries, many being known around the world. Let's explore what makes these one-of-a-kind wineries so popular with wine experts & enthusiasts alike. We will visit three wineries that offer some of the most classic red wines available. You'll have the opportunity to first-hand witness how they come to be. You will savour wines that are rich in flavour, texture and body, which include the classic ones like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and the most emblematic Chilean wine, Carmenere. ** Lunch is not included. We will have a small break to eat a snack if necessary.
The tour will start picking you up from your lodging. •Our first stop will be at Perez Cruz vineyard, located in Maipo Valley's southern shore at the foot of the Andes Mountains, a privileged space in the Chilean countryside, full of authenticity and geographical value that makes it unique. The winery is fairly new but still manages to keep traditional winemaking very much alive, a tradition that came from all the way from Europe many years ago and is still used to this day. •Our second stop will be at Santa Rita Colonial Vineyard, a place full of history where you'll enjoy a classic guided visit of its beautiful estate. • Third stop will be at Haras de Pirque Winery, once known as thoroughbred horse breeding farm, they are passionately dedicated to produce high quality organic wines from Maipo Valley’s terroir. •At last, you'll be dropped off back at your accommodation. ** Lunch is not included. We will have a small break to eat a snack if necessary.
