I'm a descendant of President James Buchanan's brother (John Buchanan). Educated in political science and law. I've resided in the Philadelphia area for over 50 years with over 25 of those years within the historic Center City region of Philadelphia. I've traveled to Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, and throughout North America (including Canada & Mexico). I'm personable, entertaining, and most people say I have a good sense of humor. I appreciate all sorts of people and cultures, and enjoy showing my city to all. You'll have a unique journey through Center City Philadelphia with me, and I'll guide and advise you as to how to get the most out of your visit to America's first capital. Licensed Driver None (except any illegal activities). Possible availability on days listed as being unavailable.

Overview of your Philadelphia tour

Visit various American Revolutionary historic sites, and unique vistas, within the eastern section of the Center City section of America's first capital. See places where people have lived continuously since the 1700's, important locations of the planning of the American Revolution, the home of the inventor of electricity, and more. Like any other major city, you'll want to travel with an experienced resident of this popular segment of a large Mid-Atlantic city with its own unique culture. Bob was incredibly knowledgeable and also kind to our kids. We asked lots of questions and he has a wealth of knowledge! The tour hit all the major historical sites in the city center, which was great for us given that we had limited time. I highly recommend this tour!
