There is a lot more to Philadelphia than Ben Franklin, cheesesteaks, and the Liberty Bell. Philly is a living history lesson filled with stories, conflicts, food, and defiance. IT'S THE BEGINNING OF AMERICA. The Declaration of Independence from the Crown. The first capital of the United States. The first protest for the abolition of slavery. Home of the first to knock out Mohammad Ali. That is what exists in the city of Brotherly Love. If coming to Philadelphia, whether it is a long layover, weekend getaway, or your a Sunday Historian; booking a tour with me is not simply learning a few facts but your first step in becoming a Philadelphian. This is your introduction. From Betsy Ross' House to the churches of Fishtown and onward to the Calle de Oro. You will see it all. I look forward to being your guide. Aww Right! Overview of your Philadelphia tour

You've seen all the tourist attractions and want to know what really makes Philly stand out? It's the neighborhoods! Mob hits, flying fish, cheesesteaks, and murals of Chubby Checker rubbing elbows with Frankie Avalon and a growing South East Asian community pulsate out of South Philly. Dumplings, milk tea and conversations in Cantonese share space with what's left of both Skid Row and the previous Red Light District as the Ben Franklin Bridge looms overhead is what makes Chinatown interesting. While the neighborhood formally known as Southwark mixes urban grit, a former Jewish Quarter, gentrification, and the Magic Garden to bring a slice of Manhattan to the City of Brother Love.

We had a delightful and informative tour with Keshler today. He arrived at our hotel early and started the tour by orienting us to the city. The route taken was very interesting and all questions were answered thoroughly. The tour was modified at one point because of our interest in specific areas. He stayed with us much longer than originally planned. We are looking forward to another tour with him this Saturday. I highly recommend him for his love Philadelphia and knowledge.

We spent an enjoyable and pleasant day with Keshler as he showed us around some of the city's neighborhoods. He was knowledgable, funny, and opinionated in a way that we liked (ask him about how William Penn was kind of like Charlie Brown, if he doesn't tell you first). The neighboorhoods were interesting, and his ability to tie the history you know with how it affected the people was appreciated. As we come out of the COVID, you deserve a private tour, and Keshler is a capable guide.

Keshler was a blast. Knew the neighborhoods and where the best food was. Always enjoy going to the local place, not the tourist spot. Keshler was a pleasure to be with. Very interesting and informative. I highly recommend him if you ever come to Philly.
