There is a lot more to Philadelphia than Ben Franklin, cheesesteaks, and the Liberty Bell. Philly is a living history lesson filled with stories, conflicts, food, and defiance. IT'S THE BEGINNING OF AMERICA. The Declaration of Independence from the Crown. The first capital of the United States. The first protest for the abolition of slavery. Home of the first to knock out Mohammad Ali. That is what exists in the city of Brotherly Love. If coming to Philadelphia, whether it is a long layover, weekend getaway, or your a Sunday Historian; booking a tour with me is not simply learning a few facts but your first step in becoming a Philadelphian. This is your introduction. From Betsy Ross' House to the churches of Fishtown and onward to the Calle de Oro. You will see it all. I look forward to being your guide. Aww Right! Overview of your Philadelphia tour

A huge part of Philadelphia is the food and places associated with it. This tour focuses on both the iconic and locally known dishes that make Philly a foodie hotspot. Come hungry because over the course of this brief tour we will start with cheesesteaks and move across the spectrum of local dishes and drinks. Don't expect touristy eating establishments. Only locals come to these hangouts!

Keshler was a great guy. Very nice food tour. Laid back. My wife and teenage kids had a great time exploring the city, and the food, with Keshler.

WOW!! This is a great tour. We tasted so many of Philly's best, and waddled our way home. It was so much more than eating. We sampled the neighborhoods and the culture of Philadelphia. Keshler is really a wonderful guide. Knowledgeable, patient, interesting. He was able to meet the needs of everyone in our family of 3 generations; no easy task.
