We will walk the streets of the Loop neighborhood, which is the central business district and the oldest section of Chicago. - We will start at Chicago Theater and learn about the Loop. - We learn the department store history of Chicago, and explore old Marshall Field's store. - We will learn about and enter inside some of the world's oldest skyscrapers and historic hotel interiors. - We will visit Millennium Park and see public art like Cloud Gate ("the Bean") - We will head to the old public library, the Chicago Cultural Center. - Finally we will explore the architecture along the Chicago riverwalk. - We will end at the Chicago Riverwalk, near State Street and Wacker Drive.
