Chicago has been my home for almost 40 years, and I’ve witnessed its transformation throughout that time. I’ve always been involved in the Tourism industry in this city, which welcomes visitors from around the world - whether for business or leisure, since it offers beauty in all four seasons year-round! As a guide, I find it very satisfying to share everything this city and the surrounding metropolitan area have to offer, whether with first-time or returning visitors; from its culture and history to its ethnic neighbourhoods and the majestic skyline architecture. For me, every tour is different, with something new to learn in each adventure, and it’s always a joy to experience them with those eager to discover something about Chicago. This city has also given me the opportunity to raise a family, with three boys who made sure to keep their dad busy and always on the lookout for something new to enjoy throughout the year.

Chicago is by all accounts a city with loads of energy, and as a guide it has been very rewarding to see how people from other latitudes are in awe when they learn or discover something new about it, even if they have been to Chicago before. I always enjoy showing and describing the fantastic architecture and history this city has to offer. It also presents a wide variety of entertainment and cultural activities throughout the entire year. On this sightseeing tour, you will hear about the incredible city transformation I have witnessed during the 39 years Chicago has been my home, and how I have grown alongside it. Together we will explore city landmarks, waterways and green spaces that will make you want to keep coming back to visit.
-New addition: if desired, a visit to the recently inaugurated Obama Presidential Center can be added as the final stop, where you can spend more time on your own. Tickets for admission to the Center and the exhibits are subject to availability and not included in the tour. - I can pick you up from your hotel. Some of the stops include the Field Museum campus, where we'll see the Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium, along Soldier Field Stadium. - We will stop at the Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park, the famous Bean and Millennium Park. -We will take an architectural boat tour of the Chicago river and Lake Michigan. -We'll stroll across the great buildings of the financial district & see excellent representations of Chicago's architecture, including the Sears Tower and Union Station. -I'll drive you along Lake Michigan & stop at the Bahai Temple and admire the green spaces surrounding it. Important: the sequence of the stops may be modified due to special circumstances, like traffic or schedules.

I can accommodate up to four passengers in a 2014 Toyota Camry. We will also walk for a good portion of the tour, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
