Greetings from Chicago! My name is Colm and I'd love to show you around my favorite city! I am a certified tour guide and enjoy meeting new people who wish to share my passion for Chicago's architecture and history. I have lived in Chicago for most of my adult life although I originally hale from Dublin, Ireland, so I know how to tell a story! I empathize with travelers because I'm a keen traveler myself and always hire a guide in a foreign place to discover its secrets, learn its history, and hopefully be entertained! In turn, I pride myself on revealing the real Chicago, avoiding some of the crowded tourist traps and offering a way to get to know the city's famous places more intimately. What better way to see Chicago's famous skyscrapers than on a short water taxi ride followed by a stroll along the Riverwalk. Avoid the packed tour boats and walk at your pace! We start out with a 15 minute ride along the river using Chicago's Water Taxi service After we disembark the boat we will walk along the Riverwalk taking in the beautiful architecture along the way. I will discuss the design of each building, answer any questions you may have and time permitting perhaps go inside one of the skyscrapers. You will have ample time to take pictures and we will end up returning to where we started.
Colm is great! I am a TBL tour guide myself in Florence, Italy and I know how complicated it is to condense the history and the architecture of a such vast city in a few hours. Still we covered so much during our tour, there are no words to express my gratitude for such an outstanding experience!!!

Start time is flexible so happy to tailor this to travelers needs. - We will meet at Wrigley Building and take the next available taxi. (Taxis depart every 15 minutes) I will have pre-booked tickets with the cost included in your tour price. - After a 15-minute ride, we will disembark at Ogilvie stop and then walk back along the Riverwalk towards where we started - Along the way, I will be discussing the architecture of many of the important buildings lining the river - Time permitting we may walk into one or more of the buildings - let me know if there are any that you wish to explore. Total tour time is approx 2 hours returning to the Wrigley Building
