I am a Chicago native and have lived and worked in the area for almost my whole life. I have also travelled quite a bit and can honestly say that Chicago is one of the best cities in the world! As a matter of fact, did you know that Chicago was just named Best Big City in America for the 8th year in a row?! I am excited to show you all it has to offer. My tours are based on walking because Chicago is a great walking city. You will be delighted to hear all the stories I have to tell, including why Chicago is so clean and how Chicago got its nicknames of Windy City and Second City. We will talk about history and architecture. I also love to stop at local restaurants to sample classic Chicago favourites. All tours can be customized, so please just let me know if there is something specific you’d like to see or eat or talk about. I can ’t wait to meet you and show off my favourite city!

This tour offers the very best of the Chicago Loop and South Loop areas. Together we will see a mix of beautiful historical buildings and newer, modern buildings. We will have a chance to go into some of these beautiful buildings on weekdays. Although some buildings are closed on the weekends, we will still walk by them and talk about their unique features regardless! Everything in Chicago has a story and I will make sure you hear all about it! I will be revealing the answers to questions such as: why is downtown Chicago called the Loop? Why are there 4 stars on the Chicago flag? Why does the Chicago River flow the "wrong" way? Why is it called the Willis Tower instead of the Sears Tower? In addition to all of this, throughout the entire tour we will be sampling some of the classic Chicago foods for which we are known - so be sure to arrive hungry!
