Hello! I can't wait to share my deep love of Chicago with you. An actor, photographer, and history buff who has called Chicago home all of my adult life, I revel in sharing stories about the Windy City -- and about the people who built it, made it their home, and left an indelible mark on it. Chicago has it all: a stunning skyline, an incredible shoreline, a vibrant art scene, a bustling theater and film community, and restaurants celebrating food from all corners of the world. Chicagoans love sports, too! Chicago is home to 77 (soon to 78) communities, all with distinct personalities and traits. We can't possibly visit them all at once, but I can certainly entice you so you come back and explore some more! Join me in the "city of big shoulders" for a visit filled with history, anecdotes, and beauty. All my tours can be customized upon request. This tour was so much fun! Sylvie is so knowledgeable about the history of Chicago. We have lived in Chicago for years, but learned so much about the history and architecture on this tour, as well as new information about The Bear; it was incredible. She took us to different neighborhoods, restaurants we never would have known about, and had delicious food. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide, Sylvie S., was professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of all things "The Bear" and the city of Chicago. I learned so much about Chicago, and it was was great seeing, and learning about, Chicago spots from the show "The Bear". The food stops were wonderful, Mr. Beef and Lao Peng You, both featured in The Bear, are excellent. Our family couldn't have asked for a better tour! I would give 10 stars if I could.
Sylvie was a vivacious, knowledgeable, and fun tour guide! She was on time and personally chose great restaurants featured on The Bear, which was quite tricky considering the many dietary restrictions we had. No worries about that-she took us to places where everyone would be happy. Sylvie knows the ins and outs of the various neighborhoods and shared information about the history and architecture of each, which made for a very interesting tour through the city. Highly recommend this tour if you're a fan of The Bear-Yes, Chef Sylvie!
Sylvie is a true ambassador for all things Chicago. We had a terrific ‘all things BEAR’ and more, tasted some delicious food and saw many neighbourhoods of Chicago and learned things that were new to us. Sylvie went out of her way to personalize the experience and even provided a list of the restaurants in Chicago showcased in the series. It’s clear that she spends time researching her facts and making sure that the experience is meaningful to her clients. We had a wonderful time.
