Hello! I can't wait to share my deep love of Chicago with you. An actor, photographer, and history buff who has called Chicago home all of my adult life, I revel in sharing stories about the Windy City -- and about the people who built it, made it their home, and left an indelible mark on it. Chicago has it all: a stunning skyline, an incredible shoreline, a vibrant art scene, a bustling theater and film community, and restaurants celebrating food from all corners of the world. Chicagoans love sports, too! Chicago is home to 77 (soon to 78) communities, all with distinct personalities and traits. We can't possibly visit them all at once, but I can certainly entice you so you come back and explore some more! Join me in the "city of big shoulders" for a visit filled with history, anecdotes, and beauty. All my tours can be customized upon request. While you see more than a dozen "set" tours -- also customizable -- , I have developed more than 70 entirely personalized tours for various individuals, couples, or groups, small and large. Just let me know what you are looking for, and I'll create a tour for you!

Sure, you've been told that when in Chicago you should eat deep dish pizza, a Chicago hot dog, and popcorn (the Illinois state snack). But did you know that Chicago is home to dozens of world cuisines? On this culinary tour, we'll eschew the typical food stops in town to instead go sample foods from China, Mexico, and Ukraine, or, if you prefer, from Poland, Greece, Iran, or Italy. In fact, we have so many choices in town, that our main issue is making a decision as to what to try next! I am also completely comfortable adjusting the tour if you have food intolerances or allergies, as I do. I pay as special attention to ingredients and how they are prepared as I do to the ambiance. As we drive around, I will give you a quick historical view of the area. Knowing our history helps us understand the present. We will end our visit at Sterling Food Hall downtown, next to the fame Marquette Building.
- Pick up from hotel in vehicle with dedicated driver - Drive to Chinatown: We will learn about the old vs the new Chinatown, explore the history of Chinese immigration to the city, and stop for a Boba and some bakery items from Tous Les Jours Korean bakery. We also will make time to visit MarketPlace 88, the largest Asian supermarket in the Midwest - From there, we will drive down 18th Street in Pilsen, admiring some of the gorgeous murals that make the neighborhood famous. We'll stop for some incredible tacos. - We will then make our way through Little Italy (if the line is not too long, we will stop at Mario's Italian Lemonade when in season) and Greektown before - Driving northwest to Ukrainian Village, where eastern European restaurants abound. Time permitting, we will stop at Shokolad for some bakery items. - We will end up back downtown at Sterling Hall All my tours can be customized upon request
