I'm Graham, your driver-guide, walking-guide and attractions guide: bringing London to life with commentary and chat on my private London tours. I have a History BA too, so deep background knowledge. And I'm a real licensed London taxi driver, having completed the world famous 'Knowledge of London' in 2000. I'm also a published London historian. My book is 'Guildhall. City of London'. It's a history of one of London's oldest buildings (600+ years). Guildhall is public, free and worth a visit, possibly during one of my London Highlights tours. • My Mercedes Vito London taxi is clean, has air-con and carries up to six passengers. The title of this tour says it all: it's the Beatles'n more rock'n roll walking tour. We take a long and winding route through the heart of London's West End (and with no hills). We'll visit the EMI recording studio (and zebra crossing) in Abbey Road as well as Beatles homes and HQ's. We'll see a Beatlesmania film location, and blue and black 'rock'n roll plaques' - unique to London. Our route takes us through lovely Marylebone, upmarket Mayfair (more rock'n roll than expected) and we'll definitely dip into classy St James's. Having a walking guide like me is super-efficient and will help to make the day enjoyable and memorable. And, we'll talk about all the other histories of the 300-year-old districts we walk through, on a half-day tour of great discoveries.
It was an absolute pleasure doing the tour with Graham. He was really knowledgable and took us to some fabulous rock n roll sites. We would recommend him to anyone! He was great with us and our teenage kids and really catered to our interests throughout the day. Don't hesitate to book with Graham!
Graham is wonderful! We've done several tours on other visits to London and Graham managed to top the list with his knowledge, efficiency, and organization. Our four kids were impressed and enjoyed the variety of our rock and roll tour. We especially enjoyed the stories and pictures that accompanied every stop of our tour and Graham was keen to include detailed commentary about the area of London we passed. Highly, highly recommend Graham as a guide. Book early—he's in demand!
We hired Graham for a full day city tour and a half day Rock and Roll tour and both were top rate! Graham is so knowledgeable that you enjoy every minute. And the fact that we could park in all the free taxi spaces and get out to see everything was the best!! We were at Abby Road and he was able to take several great photos of us being the Beatles. He showed us so many places and stories all over London about Rockers we knew as we also saw and learned about the city. You'll love this tour and Graham!

Loved the tour-Graham does wonderful job getting thru London traffic (not easy) because he's a certified black cab driver and can figure out ways past even the worst jam- felt very secure in his comfy cab- even with 5 of us. Friendly, good sense of humor, has large base of places to see, which vary depending on what traffic will allow- good stories, with an iPad of cool photos adding context to the places visited- would do again as every tour must be completely different - nice job!
