Hello and welcome to London. I have been guiding in the UK, London and Europe for 10 years and I love my job. I pride myself on a passion for history and above all, the animation of its stories and a bespoke, immersive experience that makes a tour truly memorable. I try to make my tours experiences. I like to walk inside ruins, enter places not often visited or take to the top of Londons buildings for unrivalled views of London. I like to show my guests the secret London, the local London, the unusual facts of our famous landmarks and the best parts of this small green island I call my home. From traditional pubs to local markets, from the big sights to the most photogenic areas of the city I aim to avoid the crowds and get you to the best spots and to witness all the city has to offer. From London in a day to Stonehenge and the countryside, I pride myself in getting as much as possible into your valuable time at a pace that suits you. No matter which guide you choose, I wish you an enjoyable time in this great city. This is a journey into Englands ancient history. A castle that has survived for nearly a thousand years of Englands often bloody and violent past. A Palace, a prison, a stronghold of the nations treasures. The castle has grown with London like an old beating heart and is still lived in the the Yeoman Wardens of the Tower and their families who guard the crown Jewels and share their ancient residences within the walls with the haunted souls who carved their names into the castle foundations centuries before. We will see the jewels, the prisons and torture chambers, walk through the lesser known spots in the Tower from the old lodgings of Royalty to the current inhabitants of the Ravens and see the site of execution and burial of three of our queens. On this tour we will visit the cells that became the final residences of so many souls that never left these walls and walk the battlements of the castle to get the best photo spots to remember. This in Not the Tower, this is England.
in the summer months I would recommend starting the tour in the morning. The queue for the Crown Jewels can get very long and suck away the time. The old royal Mint The crown Jewels The Armoury of the white tower The torture chambers Walk the Battlements of the tower Traitors Gate Tower Bridge All Hallows by the Tower Church and the crypt. Tower Hill and the site of executions The old Roman wall of London

The Tour of the Tower will be walking. Due to the age of the Castle some parts will not be accessible to those with mobility issues due to the absence of lifts to the White Tower and the battlements.
