Hi, I'm Ray! My tours offer a fun and relaxed style of bespoke and unique content. I am flexible to accommodate any of your interests and cultural insights. The best way to describe my tours is that I will "hold your hand" for the day, have unlimited photo opportunities and show you those unique and interesting places that only a London Taxi Driver will know. We will drive, walk, laugh and learn. My highest achievement is being a proud father of 4, following that I have been a licensed London Black Taxi Driver since completing the London knowledge in 1987. I studied the knowledge whilst working as a Printer in Fleet Street (home of London's newspaper industry) during the '80s. More recently in 2016, I qualified as a Taxi Guide with the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, studying at the City of London Museum. I was made in London, and have remained a resident Londoner. I love to share my knowledge and passion for this beautiful city that I call home. I have so much to share with you - stories and sites from Roman remain to the current day. I have travelled extensively across the world touring South East Asia, China, Australia, South Pacific, East to West coast across North America, and Europe. As an extensive traveller myself, I feel that I can provide what tourists would be looking for in their experience visiting London. Licensed London Taxi Driver since 1987, license originally issued my the Metropolitan Police of London. Qualified Taxi Guide, issued by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.

Overview of your London tour
Visit the charming town of Windsor and explore the oldest and largest occupied Royal castle in the world. Windsor has so much to offer and is a must for a day out. Windsor Castle has been home to Monarchs for close to one thousand years and was Queen Elizabeth II's favourite country retreat, closest to London. St George's Chapel, located within the Castle, is the resting place of King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth II, as well as many more Royals. It is also where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married. This private tour has something for all ages. It is a door to door service from central London and can accommodate up to 8 passengers. A pleasant day out of the centre of London. All of my tours are unique and customized to each individual.

We have visited London many times because both of our kids picked England to study abroad and Ray has been the best tour guide. He picked us up from the airport to visit Windsor and Runnymede. It was not our first time in Windsor but Ray managed to teach us new information. He was so efficient with our time and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our holiday trip so memorable! This was our 2nd Raymond tour. Ray picked us up at the cruise ship terminal with space for six passengers and bags. Prior to Windsor, Ray showed us additional British historical sights. His tour of Windsor was outstanding and very informative. After a typical British lunch, he dropped off all three couples off at Heathrow for their flights home. After many cruises and tours, Ray is without a doubt the best tour guide we have had. Would not hesitate to recommend him for this tour or any of his tours.
Your London tour itinerary
Pick up from a central London location. Travel time to Windsor is approximately a 1-hour drive. Upon arrival in Windsor, we will visit Windsor Castle and also St George's Chapel. Please note I am unable to guide within the castle however will escort you through. After visiting the historic buildings we can stroll through old Windsor, taking in the picturesque streets and alleyways adjacent to the castle, whilst heading towards the River Thames to cross over the water into the neighbouring village of Eton. At the end of our visit to Windsor, if time allows on our return journey to central London, we can also stop off and visit the historic site of Runnymede, which is where King John signed the Magna Carta. Drop off central London or London Heathrow Airport. Please note: As a working royal palace and residence Windsor Castle is closed to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
