Stonehenge & Windsor Castle in a day!

Windsor is the largest and oldest continually occupied castle in the world having been home to the British Royals for almost 1000 years! We will visit the wonderful state rooms and get up close to the art and antiques collected by the Royal Family through out the centuries. The extraordinary Queen Mary's Dolls House is a must see, as is St George's Chapel which is built in Perpendicular Gothic style unique to Britain & is where Queen Elizabeth II is laid to rest along with Henry VIII, Jane Seymour and many other monarchs, the chapel also hosted the marriage of Harry and Meghan. Stonehenge is a world-famous prehistoric monument designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and has amazed people for thousands of years, we'll walk around 'The Stones' and discuss the various uses of the site during its long history, a temple - a place of ceremony, of burial and of celebration.
