As the reviews show, the perfect tour to 'get' London and its layout. You see its key sights, get oriented and feel confident about exploring it on your own, in a tour I devised to tell London's story - the best of the city and its vantage points. We'll see Buckingham Palace and the big sights you'd expect (see itinerary) and I'll show you some offbeat stuff too. Kid-friendly, because of my storytelling background, there'll be a few smiles and surprises - like Royal history you couldn't make up! Su/Mo/We/Fr (possibly daily Jun-Aug, TBC) we can start with Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. We'll get pics with guards, regardless. Typically following the river east, the tour usually incorporates foodie-heaven Borough Market (Tue-Sun) with its delis and street food. After lunch, we can explore the centre some more, or even go off-beat? Markets? Shops? Hidden courtyards and ruined churches? Or pubs? Boats? A high viewpoint? Cool East London? Banging Brixton? You choose!
Hit 'Ask Me a Question' for easy contact. There is a lot of walking, BUT of course I can adapt for you to use bus/tube/cab. AM -> Walk by classic sights and ride a bus/Tube between the two sections - you travelled the city like a real Londoner! Westminster walking: Buckingham Palace Parliament Westminster Abbey Nelson's Column A chance to stand near the King's Redcoats (guards) Whitehall & Prime Minister's street Subway or bus between sections (c. 15mins) or 30 min walk. City and Southwark walking: St Paul's Cathedral Shakespeare's Globe Tate Modern Art Museum The Thames River (crucial to London) (Tower of London view from a distance) LUNCH PM -> A market(s) like Camden or Spitalfields? Pub tour? Pop to Royal Greenwich for the Prime Meridian? Take in a museum or go to funky East London for world class street art, street food, vintage clothing and retro vinyl stores? Or something else? In the off-season I've more flex on times. 'Too short notice' showing on calendar? Drop me a mail anyway!

London has a fantastic public transport system, so let's use it! Everywhere is accessible by Tube or bus that you'd like to go. Use Apple or Google Pay or Contactless card to access the transport that normally caps at 8GBP in the tourist spots. So we can go crazy if we like!
