Combines easily with my London and St. Paul's Cathedral in the Blitz for a full picture of London's experience at this pivotal moment in history.
Melissa was great for the Churchill war rooms tour! She was a great wealth of knowledge and told it in a very understandable and connected way. And she was very patient … I asked so many questions that we ran over our time. But she patiently answered all of them! We will definitely tour with Melissa when we return to London!
Melissa was very knowledgeable and interesting, I very much enjoyed my tour with her.
We had so been looking forward to the War Room Museum as we had missed it the last time we had been to London. It did not disappoint and neither did our guide Melissa. Who would believe that besides being a guide she was also a HISTORY teacher. I think we are ready to pass any future tests on the ordeal the United Kingdom went through during those dark days. It was just so interesting to learn so many background bits about one of your greatest leaders Winston Churchill. Really enjoyed our visit to the War Room and attribute it in part to our good guide Melissa. We would highly recommend her to anyone.
Melissa shared very interesting stories and tid bits about Churchill- great tour.
Melissa was a fantastic tour guide. She was very informative and engaging.
We had an extraordinary tour with Melissa in Churchill's War Rooms. It's an absolutely amazing museum, but was made that much better with Melissa as our guide. She shared our deep interest in this significant time in history, and made the space come alive for us with her obviously deep knowledge of and passion for Churchill and World War 2. Her stories went way beyond just what most folks know about Churchill and The Blitz; I can't imagine being able to feel closer to that time and space. Melissa has background as a teacher, and my family and I remarked later how blessed her students must have been--having such an energetic and passionate teacher. My family and I remarked to each other that we'd love to take the tour with Melissa again, next time in London. Thanks, Melissa, for an awesome experience!
