Beannachdan bho Alba !! (greetings from Scotland) Thank you very much for checking out my profile. I belong to Inverness, which is regarded as the capital of the Scottish Highlands, and with the exception of a period of College Studies in Edinburgh, I've lived around the North & West Highlands all of my life, including time in the Orkney Islands. I spent 30 years serving communities around the Scottish Highlands as a Police Officer, and through this, achieved advanced driving standards & an excellent knowledge of Highlands Roads. I commenced my Professional Driving Services in 2017, shortly after retirement from the Police Service, and work hard to provide a good standard of transportation, plus maintain a smart appearance to ensure my customers receive an excellent standard of service. My default Vehicle is a Recent Top End Luxury Van Style People Carrier which gives an elevated, excellent view as the tour progresses. I provide only private services to the person or group making the booking, and though I provide fixed tours on various themes & locations, these can be customized to suit particular needs. I take a relaxed, laid back & flexible approach to itineraries, and within any given route, I can effect requested changes even at short notice. I have particular experience with Scotch Whisky Tours covering all areas in Scotland, including Speyside & North Highland, plus am always happy to make any extra desired arrangements that may otherwise fall out of the scope of any suggested itineraries. I also have considerable experience (since 2017) in the provision of Shore Excursions for those visiting Cruise Ports at Invergordon & Ullapool, plus cross check every Shore Excursion booking with Port information where I'm able to monitor ship arrival & departure times to ensure a seamless, worry free day for those guests. I have several hobbies although predominantly I enjoy performing music, including Scottish Traditional Music. I'm very proud of the Scottish Highlands and am passionate about delivering a great experience to all those utilizing my service. Regardless of whom you decide to go around with, make sure you have a fabulous time in the fantastic Scottish Highlands! 7 years of experience in the tours and transportation industry. This includes considerable experience in the provision of Cruise Ship Shore Excursions (being a regular cruiser myself fully understand the special requirements of the logistics and flexibility required by such tours). Also, having served for 30 years as a Highlands Police Officer, I bring to this role: 1. Excellent driving skills. 2. Good people skills. 3. Excellent knowledge of Highlands Roads. I am not a licensed guide but I am permitted to guide you on Culloden Battlefield, Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle , Wardlaw Mausoleum , Inverness Old High Church, Dunrobin Castle and many other locations.
