My name is Morgan, and I am your tour guide here at ToursByLocals. I'm a born and bred highlander. I've lived up here for my whole 25 years. Growing up here, I have a rich understanding of the traditions and culture we have in the Highlands, and I can't wait to share it with you! I grew up on a local farm, so the land around the area had a very special place in my heart. Learning more about the land we live in and sharing that passion has drawn me to becoming a tour guide for these stunning lands. I will help you learn the Highlander way of life from the traditions we hold dear, our clans and what they represent and the Tartan we wear and how that identifies you! Maybe I can help you learn more about your own clan and Scottish roots you may have! Have you ever wondered if Nessie really exists? Have you ever tasted the Whisky or "water of life" as we call it! Or have you ever wanted to learn a couple of phrases in Scots Gaelic to impress your friends and family? Let me take you on a journey through Scotland from the rugged mountains to the babbling burns. I will make sure your Scottish adventure is one you won't forget! All my tours are customizable to your needs, so feel free to contact me with anything you might need! - Local lived in the area since birth - Interested in History and especially local history - Insight into unrecorded local history I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside the historical monuments. This will be left to the on-site guides at each location.

See how the family used to live in this Fairytale castle. Explore the castle gardens with a falconry display and museum filled with local archaeological finds dating back 4000 years. Then on to visit some of Scotland's many distilleries and sample the 'water of life' known in Gaelic as 'uisge beatha', being a born and bred Scotsman this is something of which I have rich knowledge and love. Visit a working distillery producing one of the best products that the Highlands has to offer. Choice of four depending on availability. Glenmorangie The Singleton Dalmore or Balvenie
