Only available between the 1st of April and the 30th of September. Have you ever wondered why Shakespeare picked Cawdor castle for his play of the fated King Macbeth? Visit the historic Cawdor Castle which dates from the late 14th century built as a private fortress by the Thanes of Cawdor. Discover the connection to Macbeth and the Mysteries contained within. As your personal tour guide, I have a unique insight into the Castle's history as I live beside it and have grown up hearing the legends that surround the Castle. I will provide a personal experience as you immerse yourself in this special place. Then on to visit some of Scotland's many distilleries and sample the 'water of life' known in Gaelic as 'uisge beatha', being a born and bred Scotsman this is something of which I have rich knowledge and love. Visit a working distillery producing one of Speyside's best products and a historical distillery to learn how whisky was made in the 1900s.
