Glasgow's Top Ten Buildings

Hi my name is Michael and I would like to welcome you to Scotland! I was born and raised in Glasgow and have worked in the city for over 35 years in a wide ranging career including banking and education. Like you I love to travel and I have been lucky to visit the USA, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Bulgaria, the Caribbean and the United Arab Emirates. In each of these locations I make a point of exploring the culture, history and architecture of whichever city I find myself in, and I would love the opportunity to do the same for you here in Glasgow, Edinburgh or St Andrews. I have led numerous educational tours with groups ranging in size from to 4 to 40 in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, and Inverness. Further afield I have guided students across the battlefields of France and Belgium and also on thought-provoking and emotional tours of Auschwitz in Poland. Just recently I was fortunate to be one of the 21 students who qualified as a prestigious Blue Badge Guide with the Scottish Tourist Guide Association which allows me to guide in an official capacity anywhere in the country and it would be a privilege and a pleasure to share my knowledge and expertise with you through ToursByLocals in Scotland.
