On this tour of Fife we'll start of visiting one of the most picturesque castles in Scotland that is Glamis Castle. I will never forget the first time I visited Glamis on a school outing (going a few years back now) but the memory has stayed with me like it was yesterday, I've visited many Castles and Palaces since then, but yet to see a more spectacular view on arrival. This Castle has been the home of the Lyon family since the 14th century. Glamis is the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth known to most as the Queen Mother. From Glamis we'll head over to St Andrews known to most as the home of Golf, see the Swilcan Bridge that takes you to the 18th tee of the old course, and if our timing is right there's a walking tour for the last 3 holes of this famous course. Taking the coastal route back to Edinburgh through the scenic fishing villages Fife has and if time is on our side we can stop off for some fish and chips along the way back to Edinburgh stopping off at the small unique village of South Queensfer

Garry was an amazing guide! We had 3 generation group of 8 people, a very general idea of what we wanted to do and he filled our time (and yet was still flexible) with interesting and fun things to do for the whole family. He did an amazing job of connecting with everyone, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area, and set the standard very high for other tour guides during our vacation. Thank you so much Garry!
Knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. Vehicles are extremely comfortable. Highly recommend
we had made our reservations with Garry, but at the last moment we were transferred to another tour guide. After the multiple conversations with Garry it was disappointing to meet with a "new" person. Our new guide was very knowledgeable of the surrounding countryside, but lots of his information was lost due to no intercom system in the vehicle. the couples in the back to seats could not hear his commentary. I would rate 5 stars if we could only hear his voice.
Gary was a great tour guide for our wonderful day in St Andrews. He made it special for all 10 of us on the trip. The Golfer members say it was the highlight of the cruise. He showed up on time in a very comfortable & spacious vehicle and directed us to all important sights to see in St Andrews, including a great restaurant for Fish & Chips. We would highly recommend him for your visit to St Andrews! Thanks Gary
Leaving Edinburgh this tour will take about 9-10 hours, crossing the Forth Bridges heading to Fife for 4 stops though this tour: - Visit Glamis Castle. - Arrive to St Andrews to spend some time here. - Pass by Anstruther. - Head to South Queensferry. - Then back to your agreed drop off location. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
