Overview of your Edinburgh tour
For 270 years, young couples have eloped "over the border" from England into Scotland where they could marry without parental consent. Gretna Green is a lovely little Scottish village that sits just across the English border where many marriages were performed by the local Smithy. On this tour you can enjoy a traditional hand fasting ceremony over the iconic smithy anvil. Not a legal marriage but a symbol of enduring love. This is a beautiful way to celebrate an anniversary or just to reaffirm your love for that special person. The experience includes a museum, a lover maze and the love wall where you can attach a symbol of your enduring love. There is also a place to shop for gifts and souvenirs and sit down for a fresh traditional lunch.

- From your pick up point we will drive for 2 hours or so through the Scottish borders to the village of Gretna Green - Guests can choose to take part in a traditional hand fasting ceremony. This is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and is not included in the price of the tour to avoid additional booking fees. Contact details can be provided on request. The ceremony can be booked from 2-5 hours after pick up time. - Explore the Lovers Maze - Lunch in the local café - Souvenir and gift shopping - Explore the experience museum - 2 hour return journey to drop off point
