With a background in higher education and historical research, I'm in an ideal position to help you explore ancient archaeology, kings and queens, witch-hunting, the Jacobites or many of the other fascinating aspects of Scottish history. Along the way, we can uncover so much more that Scotland has to offer: we can explore quirky customs, ceremonies, folklore and superstitions; feast on superb Scottish produce; embark on a whisky or gin trail; spot spectacular wildlife; bask in breathtaking scenery; visit film and literary locations (yes - definitely Outlander!); photograph iconic landscapes and architecture; and connect with Scottish artisans and craftspeople (I am a keen knitter and love using yarns produced or hand dyed in Scotland).
