Hello, my name is James and I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish. I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to travel all across this beautiful country over the years, seeing some impressive sights and visiting some incredible places, including being in Balmoral Castle while the Queen was in residence (but that's a story for another time). There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in out ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. Overview of your Edinburgh tour

The Outlander series has taken the world by storm! Let me take you to some of the most iconic locations where you can follow in the footsteps of Claire & Jamie. This is your opportunity to see for yourself where it all happened. You will be collected from either Ocean Terminal and from there we will set off on a journey around the five most famous locations, enjoying some breathtaking scenery along the way. Locations include: Culross: Village of Crainsmuir and home to Geillis Duncan. Doune Castle: The home of Colum MacKenzie and where they played their great game of shinty after the boar hunt. Hopetoun House : Claire and Jamies French apartments, Duke of Sandringham's home and Hellwater Blackness Castle: Captain Jonathan Randall's HQ, where Jamie was flogged by Black Jack. Midhope Castle: The family home of Jamie Fraser, Lallybroch.

James K. is an outstanding tour guide who is very knowledgeable about the places we visited and their histories. We focused our tour on Outlander and he showed us so much more. He was able to get us to areas before the tourists so we had time to explore in peace. He told us interesting stories about being an extra on the show. James was a most entertaining tour guide! We had the best time we could have ever expected! James was warm, inviting and very knowledgeable of the outlander sites we visited! He took us to an inn for lunch that far exceeded our expectations! His “bar at the back of his van” was very much appreciated as we found a whiskey we loved that we can get here in the states! James was a wonderful tour guide and an unexpected, welcomed friend! We had the most wonderful experience of Scotland and Outlander that far and above exceeded our expectations.
