I’m an award-winning photographer, videographer, and author based in Edinburgh. I wrote 'Edinburgh – A New Perspective', a fine-art coffee table book that captures Scotland’s capital in sweeping panoramic images through the changing seasons. My work also greets millions of travelers each year at Edinburgh Airport, where seven large-scale panoramas have been proudly on display for more than two decades. With an expert eye for Scotland’s landscapes and a lifelong love of nature, I lead immersive tour experiences to some of the country’s most breathtaking locations. Known for my warm, personable approach—and for the legendary hampers I bring along—I ensure every journey and experience is both inspiring and memorable. In addition to my set itineraries, I create exclusive, tailor-made tours, often blending photography tuition with unique, once-in-a-lifetime moments. As the preferred nature and photography guide for the prestigious five-star Gleneagles Hotel, I design and deliver bespoke experiences for VIP guests. My clients have included Hollywood directors, renowned business leaders, and other high-profile visitors seeking the very best of the Scottish Highlands. Rest assured, you're in capable hands... I was recently interviewed on a podcast about nature and the outdoors— please head on over to listen to the episode on Spotify here, where you'll hear all about my story: https://open.spotify.com/episode/5e92bN22ivz2AWDnbZ8XI4?si=fdb384d07b5b4512

Join me for a memorable journey along the spectacular coastline of East Lothian and Berwickshire, home to dramatic cliffs, secluded beaches, charming fishing villages, and abundant wildlife. We'll explore highlights including Tyninghame Beach, the stunning St Abb's Nature Reserve, and either the picturesque village of Cove or the remarkable Siccar Point. One of the world's most important geological sites, Siccar Point is where geologist James Hutton made observations that helped shape our understanding of the Earth's immense age. Limited to just four participants, this tour offers a relaxed and personal experience, allowing us to explore hidden corners of the coast at a comfortable pace. A traditional Scottish picnic hamper lunch is included, along with snacks, tea and coffee. Whether you're a nature lover, history enthusiast, photographer, or simply looking to experience a lesser-known part of Scotland, this tour provides an authentic day discovering one of the country's most beautiful coastal regions.
Our Itinerary will look like this: 9am Pick Up (Edinburgh) Locations: 1. Tyninghame Beach (Walking to location once parked) 2. Cove Harbour (Walking to location once parked – not a long walk) or... 3. Siccar Point (Hutton's Unconformity) 4. St Abbs Nature Reserve (Walking to location once parked) 5. If time permits we can head down into St Abbs village or the seaside town of Eyemouth for a passing visit. Note - you can choose between Cove or Siccar Point. Depart St Abb’s return to Edinburgh
