Hello, please let me introduce myself. I'm John Mc. I was born and lived most of my life in Edinburgh. I'm a fully qualified taxi driver in Edinburgh with over 20 years experience . I'm a fully accredited tour guide for Edinburgh I have completed the worshipful company of Hackney Carriage Drivers tour course for Edinburgh . I am also an accredited whiskey ambassador. It would be my pleasure to show and tell you the many sites and stories that Edinburgh and Scotland has to offer. I can offer a full range of tours of Edinburgh from 4, 8 and 12 hours. I can also offer a wide range of full day tours outside of Edinburgh from Stirling , St Andrews, The Scottish Borders and Outlander tours along with the Highlands of Scotland. Or I can build a tour that suits your tastes and requirements. I also offer a full range of tours throughout Scotland's whisky regions and distilleries, something completely different. All at your own pace (although I set itineraries up you are in control). So relax and take everything at your pace. I want you to have as much fun as I do on all the tours given. You can tell me what you want and I will make a tour that fits and suits you. All tours are bespoke to each clients requirements. My philosophy is to treat every tour as it is your only chance to visit Scotland. I will make every tour unique for all my customer's. I look forward to seeing you . Visit Outlander Locations - Ideal for Shore Excursion
Overview of your Edinburgh tour
Are you an Outlander fan? so do not spend more time without visiting of locations used in the Netflix smash series! We shall visit Falkland used as Inverness. Also, Culross which is the village used as the nearby Mackenzie seat. We will see Mid Hope Castle, home of the Fraser Clan. We will also visit Blackness Castle, scenes of the prison at Fort William. We will go to Doune Castle, seat of the Mackenzie clan. I will personally tell you the stories and tales behind the Outlander saga. On this tour we explore all the main locations in season one. I will answer the many questions that you may have about the show and the history of the locations we visit. Join me on this surprising experience! Note: if you are from cruise ships, this tour might be subject to change as the departure time might not fitted all of locations in time frame. I will do my best to make it work!

Your Edinburgh tour itinerary
- Pick up at customers request. - We start our tour at Midhope Castle the ancestral home of Jamie Fraser. - From here we go to blackness Castle this is the Fort William home of Jack Randell. - After this we head to Doune Castle Known as Castle leoch the seat of the Mackezie family. - Maybe stop for lunch when back on the Outlander trail this time to Culross. - Wander around the narrow streets and you will think you have travelled back in time. - After this we go to Falkland used as Inverness I the opening scenes of the first episode. If timing allows - We then move on to Dysart this is the French port where Jamie and Claire arrive. If timing allows - - Then we head for home knowing you have walked in the footsteps of the characters of this smash hit show. All the time on this tour take the time to explore all the surroundings at your pace. Customization possible.
