Edinburgh City Highlights - A taste of Edinburgh!

David was a fantastic tour guide! He met us at the pier and we were off! First we walked the Royal Mile with David telling us stories and pointing out interesting sites. We walked the whole mile, then back to Holyrood Palace. He waited while a couple of us explored on our own. He had snacks and beverages (hot tea, coffee, soda - more on that later, and WHISKEY!) We were supposed to go to Rosslyn Chapel, but after chatting with us, we decided that Stirling Castle would be better. He was SO right!

David was a wonderful guide. We were a bit disappointed that we did not see everything. However, the Royal Britanna tour was great and we hand a nice Scottish lunch recommended by David.

We had a fabulous day with David. Since we have been in the Edinburgh region several times, he was very helpful in suggesting places to visit where we had not been. We loved our tour of Roslyn Chapel. Please don't miss this gem. He then graciously drove us to Scone Palace, which was on the opposite side of the city, but was worth the drive. He made the drive fun with his stories. I would definitely recommend you plan a day with David. He was punctual, fun, and very knowledgeable about the region.

David was knowledgeable and very friendly. He was also accommodating as we change our places to visit during the tour. Recommend David to future travelers.

We had a great time with David. He met us promptly at 9am as agreed. We drove to downtown Edinburgh and spent some time there. The castle was completely sold out, so David improvised and we went to Stirling Castle. We had an excellent lunch first and then walked around the castle for a bit. Good food (shortbread and tablet) as well as drinks (tea, water, and soda) were provided. David was fun and easy to talk to, van was comfy, and overall the day was great!
