This eight hour tour will include all of the most popular and main tourist attractions that Edinburgh has to offer and I am delighted to show you them! Including some spots you won't find in any guide or tourist book. This tour is extremely popular with visitors who really want to see what Edinburgh and the Lothian's really has to offer. You will have plenty of time to to visit one or more attractions (cost of which is not included in the tour). You will hear about the history of Edinburgh and the building of the old and new town. The inspiration for Jekyll and Hyde and the filming locations used in Outlander. See the hidden villages of Edinburgh that residents walk past everyday. Absolutely wonderful day! Kevin is an excellent tour guide. He is a walking encyclopedia of Edinburg & all things Scottish. Moreover, he is a really fun guy to spend the day with; helpful & accommodating. Kevin is the kind of person you would hope to be your next door neighbor. We did an overview of Edinburg tour & it was perfect for a first time visitor.
Kevin is one of the best if not THE best guides we have experienced. He has exceptional knowledge of the locale. We saw so very much and remember fondly his stories as well as facts. Plus he is just an extremely nice and caring guide. We don't think you can go wrong requesting one of his tours.

He was easy to work with and communicated quickly as we did our planning. He is also very knowledgeable and passionate about Scotland and conveyed this with enthusiasm and humor. He was very hospitable, courteous and respectful, and we would seek him in the future for other tours.
Kevin is a great guy to tour with. His automobile is an advantage as he has taxi credentials and has access to the restricted lanes used by buses, taxis, etc. His local knowledge of the roads gets you to your destination in the most efficient manner. This allows you to see the points of interest you want and more. A pleasure to be with, and yes, hope to utilize his services again when we return.

My husband and I had a wonderful day in Edinburgh with Kevin. He created a tour just to our "historical" taste with visit to Antoine Wall near Falkirk Wheel, Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile, Crammond Roman ruins, and sights in between. He promptly picked us up at cruise terminal and delivered us back in plenty of time to catch last tender to our ship. We could tell he used his experience and did his research to create a lifetime memory for us.
