Sagrada Familia: Awe and Wonder, 1,5 Hour Tour

Just as Bach returned to the deepest roots of the Baroque style to perfect counterpoint and compose music that is close to miraculous, Gaudi returned to the deepest roots of technical construction to take architecture to its maximum splendor. They both went back to basics and did things differently, thereby taking them to new, unexplored and wonderous levels. What's more, in the same way as counterpoint makes independent voices work perfectly together to create a magical whole, Gaudi made his 4 big passions, i. e. architecture, nature, religion and love for Catalonia, blend perfectly together to create a majestic, forest-like temple, the Sagrada Familia. As you admire the singularity and beauty of the shapes and detail, you are likely to have an epiphany: dare to be different!
