Gothic Quarter: Walking Tour of the Old Town (4H)

Fransesc was truly amazing! Five stars isn’t enough. We did his 8 hour Barcelona tour over two days. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Barcelona. Our group of 8 was soaking up all he had to teach about history, art, architecture, topography, food, religious symbolism, language, politics, and more. He adapted our tour on the spot when he found out what we did for a living. This made the tour even more unique and special. He was very organized and prepared, ensuring our time with him was well spent, delightful, and seamless. His English was amazing. He uses a microphone and Bluetooth headsets so we could all hear him clearly throughout the tours. He also helped direct us with restaurants and food options. Everything he recommended was absolutely delicious. He was so gracious and a perfect host. We wholeheartedly recommend him.

We booked this tour with Francesc for our first day in Barcelona. It was a great way to get our bearings and learn a lot of history of the region and of the city. Francesc is an excellent tour guide, we did this tour with him and then the next day did a Gaudi tour with him. He was engaging with everyone in the family and made sure to point out particular things that might interest them. I highly recommend Francesc and this tour.

A really good tour that we tweaked to take in the Sagrada Famillia. Francesc was an excellent and knowledgeable host who took care of us very well, he was an enthusiastic and entertaining guide who we would recommend . We thoroughly enjoyed the time, it was a highlight of our visit.

Francesc, our guide, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The Gothic Quarter has interesting architecture and lots of fun shops.

Had an excellent tour by Francesc for our family of nine! Everyone loved the tour, full of information and he was very fun and energetic. He's been full time guide for 15 years now knows the city well. He offered to have us stop for a break in the 4 hr tour to either a very special hot chocolate place with churros or sangria and special Iberian ham. We chose the ham and it was awesome glad we did. Several of the group went back later in the day and had the thick hot chocolate at the place he recommended and they loved it as well. Would highly recommend this for first day in town
