Olá (Hello) my name is Silvia. I'm a dreamy native Portuguese that enjoys to walk and imagine how things where in the past and how they may be in the future. There's not a price you can put on taking the time to get to know Portugal and being able to take in unforgettable memories. At the end of the day the experience is always beyond enriching as we absorb gorgeous views, get to know locals and take in all the history that Portugal has to offer. You can experience a "walking tour" which in my opinion is the best way to get to know the heart of my lovely city. But there's also "tour by car", in Lisbon but also to other places not far away from Lisbon. Just thirty minutes from Lisbon there's the romantic town of Sintra that will be our first stop. Here we can visit one of the several monuments open to the public, according to your personal interests (example: Pena Palace, Town Palace, Moorish castle, Quinta da Regaleira - you choose). Is such a small town but so characteristic with the local shops and pastries, tiny streets and with this green from the mountain with the same name: Sintra. After Sintra we will proceed to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, where in the past people thought was the end of the world, here we have breathtaking views towards the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, and fortunately today we know is not the end of the world. Later we will drive the scenic road coming back to Lisbon but doing a short stop at Cascais, where the locals love to came even for a short walk. Where you will have free time to walk around and see how an old fishermen village became such a beautiful town.
Sylvia is a wonderful guide! We visited the Pena Palace, the city of Sintra & had a wonderful seaside lunch in Cascais! Sylvia’s knowledge of the places we visited was excellent! Sylvia gave us some dining recommendations in Lisbon & we dined at one of the restaurants last night & it was excellent! Hotel pick up Sintra where we will visit the monument you decided to visit, and where you will have same free time to enjoy the small town. Cabo da Roca, westernmost point of continental Europe with beautiful landscapes Cascais, an elegant town that develop a lot in the XIX with the presence of the Royal Family (Free Time) Hotel drop off Cascais and Sintra are located around 30 minutes from Lisbon. We will visit the palace/monument that you prefer according to our interests, but please notice that if you pretend to visit Pena Palace we should arrive earlier in the morning in other try to avoid queues, so I suggest to start at 8:30. *I can customize this tour according to your interests* The price this tour is for 4 people if you are more, please contact me, I can rent a bigger car.
