Waking up knowing I’m about to meet enthusiastic people who are excited to discover my city makes me a very grateful person. Tour guiding has been my full-time career since 2003. For over two decades (time really flies!), I traveled the world as a guide across Europe, South America, and Central America. I traded the nomadic life to settle back home when my first child was born, and since 2016, I've been 100% dedicated to Lisbon and its surroundings. Across my career, I’ve led nearly 5,000 tours, including over 1,100 with ToursByLocals. In 2021, I was honored as one of the world's "Best Specialist Guides" by the Wanderlust Awards—a recognition born out of doing what I love every day. To offer you the highest quality experience, I hold a 5-year academic degree in Touristic Information, the official Certificate of Competence required for regulated guides, and my own tour company licensed by Turismo de Portugal. But even with all my background, don't expect a dry history lecture! I consider myself knowledgeable, but above all, easygoing, friendly, and flexible. I truly believe we learn the most when we’re having fun in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. As a mother of three, I love planning family trips and know firsthand how precious those travel memories are.
