Hello! I am Inês and I was born and raised in Lisbon! I have been an ambassador for my beautiful country since 2008 and I am waiting for the opportunity to show you my country, which I love! You will easily sense that when you hear me speak about our culture, history, gastronomy and people. I am friendly and flexible and will do the possible for you to make the most of your trip! As a certified tourist guide I have started working as national guide, accompanying travelers from all over the world in long range tours across the country, and had the opportunity to work as a tour manager across Europe. Currently I am working only as a local guide in Lisbon and surroundings, and continuing my ongoing training in order to specialize even more in my favorite region. I will gladly show you the gems of our culture, nature and history that are located within and beyond the capital city. In May 2020 I also got my "Clean & Safe" certification, provided by the Tourism of Portugal board after a training, certifying that I am a Professional Complying with Health Measures in Portugal, which is very necessary in this period post appearance of COVID-19. I do tours to the highlights such as Sintra, Fátima or Óbidos, but also to the more off the beaten track Arrábida mountain, street art and food spots in my own neighborhood (I love food!). My tours can be tailored to your motivations and I provide visits to museums and to local handicrafts makers. I love animals and will happily insert a visit to a local shelter or an activity of sustainable tourism related to animals upon request (e. g. visiting a donkey shelter). In my free time I like to spend time with my friends, family and my dog Gooseberry. I hike, swim, and dance forró (a Brazilian dance). I have a great interest in permaculture and bio-construction. Before and after getting my degree, I invested in travelling in order to improve my language skills and my knowledge about other countries and cultures. I lived in France where I worked for 3 months at the Wine Museum of Bordeaux and so far I travelled to the U. S. A. , Canada, Peru, Costa Rica, Brazil, Iran, Cape Verde, South Africa, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Qatar and several European countries. I have three types of tours: -Walking tours - I offer these in Lisbon. For these tours we use our legs, trams, buses, funiculars… -Tours with transportation included in a Mercedes car or van, where you have a guide (me) AND a driver, who drops us off and picks us up where we need. Might you have a big group, I can also hire a bus -Tours with transportation included in my 7 seater van (Seat Alhambra - up to 4 people other me (complying with the new safety measures and the "Clean & Safe" certification), where I am both guide and driver. The itineraries can be changed accordingly to the location of your hotel and your motivations, and some sights can be replaced for others you're more interested in. Check my tours and you will surely find something you like, or get ideas for tours that I can customize for you! One of the things I like the most about my job is that everyday I learn new things - I am sure I will learn something new with you too! I look forward to help you fall in love with my country! I have an University Degree in Tourist Information and I am a licensed, registered and insured Tourist Guide since 2008 (license number is 26.207.15/08). I am a proud member of the Portuguese Guides Association - AGIC. I own and manage a tour company licensed by the Official Tourism Organization of Portugal (license nr 301/2014), which allows me to do guided tours with my insured and licensed minivan. All tours are covered by a Civil Liability insurance and by a Personal Accidents insurance. To include you in the latter for the days in which we tour, I will need your names and dates of birth during the booking process. None.

This is a tour perfect for travelers who would like to experience the culture, traditions and local flavours. We will start our day going to Azeitão. To get there we will cross the amazing 25 th of April bridge. I remember crossing it every summer with my mother when we went to the beach nearby! In Azeitão you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional tile-painting factory so you can find out how tiles are made (it's actually part of our art curriculum at school). We cannot miss the José Maria da Fonseca wine cellar, where we will taste its wine. Right after we will learn how the local cheese is made and try some Azeitão cheese and Moscatel wine along with some Tortas de Azeitão, the famous local sweets. We will cross the Arrábida's mountain natural park enjoying its wonderful landscapes and have lunch in Setúbal, famous for its fish and seafood restaurants. At the end of the tour we will go back to Lisbon by the Vasco da Gama bridge, still feeling the delicious tastes of Arrábida's mountain.
Hotel pick up - 25th April bridge - Azeitão (Tile-making traditional factory) - Cheese tasting - José Maria da Fonseca Wine cellars - Scenic drive in the Arrábida mountain - Setubal - Vasco da Gama bridge. Other possibilities: having lunch in Sesimbra instead of Setúbal, and visiting its castle. It is also possible to visit a cork producing estate after lunch. Please message me for more info so I can create a customized tour that meets your interests.

It is a comfortable 7 seater mini-van (Seat Alhambra), with A/C and radio. It holds comfortably me + 4 adults + 2 children (the 2 back seats have less legroom than all the others).
