We will do a Tour starting after lunch, and thus we will avoid the crowds that visit Sintra in the morning. We will visit some of the most iconic places in Sintra. Pena Palace or any other to your choice and the historic center of the village. From there, we will depart on a short trip through the mountainous region of Sintra, to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Europe. Then to one of my favorite spots, a almost unknown location, one of the most amazing view sights in Portugal. Then return to Lisbon.
Carlos was a wonderful guide and we had an exceptionally good day with him. He was very knowledgeable, and conveyed that knowledge in a very interesting way. He managed our day so that we avoided the worst of the crowds. He was very considerate and we enjoyed our time with him very much. Highly recommended!
We actually had Carlos for 2 days of touring. He's the best! Our tour to Sintra was amazing. As we drove up the tiny streets leading to the Pena Palace, Carlos pointed out and gave us background information about the smaller palaces and the city of Sintra itself. While walking through the beautiful gardens of the Pena Palace, Carlos gave us the history of this unique place. We did a deep dive into the history, design and inhabitants of this palace...this was so worthwhile! From there we went to Cabo da Roca to see the most western point on the European Contenant - that was very cool as well. Carlos's warmth, charm and humor had us immediately feeling like he was a friend we had known for years. We wish we could give him more that 5 stars! Thank you, Carlos! Todd and Cathy

We had a wonderful day on Sintra with Carlos. His knowledge of the Pena Palace was remarkable and made the tour so very interesting! We also loved the stop in the village and especially at the western most point of Europe. His vehicle was clean and very comfortable. His English is excellent and he enunciates well which helped my spouse who uses a hearing aide. We also left a kindle accidentally in the car and he made it easy for us to retrieve it. I highly recommend Carlos!

From Lisbon to Sintra, 30 minutes drive. In Sintra, visit Pena Palace or any other of the 7 Palaces and Historical village. From Sintra to Cabo da Roca, 25 minutes drive. Time to visit Cabo da Roca. Time to enjoy the view and a lot more. From cabo da Roca to Lisbon, 30 minutes.
