Unique Classic Jeep Tour with wine tasting in Central Madeira Portugal - 6 hours

My wife and I had a wonderful 6-hour tour with Vitor in Madeira. We booked the half day tour and were picked up in Funchal in the open top jeep. Vitor as a Madeira native has a lot of stories and knowledge about the island and we enjoyed getting to know him. We learned about a lot of native plants fruit trees, grape vines and herbs and there uses while off roading. We stopped at many stunning view points around the island including Valley of the Nuns, which has a lot of cool history. We had a lovely lunch stop with one of the best sandwiches we had all vacation. After a stop at the Câmara de Lobos fishing village we visited a Madeira wine tasting room. Lastly, at our request, Vitor was kind enough to drop us off at the end of the tour in Monte at the so we could try out the infamous toboggan sleds. Overall we had a 5-Star day and would definitely recommend Vitor.

We had a great day with Vitor! He met us at the ship, took us all over the island, and showed us all the sites! Vitor was timely, friendly, conscientious, and made sure we all really had fun. Since we were all a bit older he took the bumpy roads slowly but was still able to give us the feeling of adventure! We got to have a delicious lunch at an authentic restaurant, sample the local beverages and get a glimpse of his beautiful country. We highly recommend Vitor for a fun day in Portugal!

Fantastic trip. Vitor communicated with us precisely concerning pick up instructions and on time. The trip was exciting, well timed and included a variety of stops. Vitor is an excellent guide. His knowledge of the island: its history, special locations and interesting facts was top notch. We saw locations we never knew existed thanx to his expertise. Vitor is an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of Madeira's history, flora and fauna is exceptional, and his English is excellent. He's also a very good driver and photographer! He customized a tour of Madeira for us that maximized the beauty of the island and the incredible vistas overlooking the island. We enjoyed four-wheeling in his jeep, along with a Madeira wine tasting and Poncha tasting. Our photos were breath-taking. We look forward to returning to Madiera and taking another tour with Vitor!
