Central Madeira - Half Day 4x4 Tour

Hello! My name is Miguel a certified local guide on this heavenly island we call Madeira! One of the best and most beautiful places in the world, that I am lucky to call home. Until December 2024 I tried to avoid being on outdoor online platforms... But technology spoke louder... and finally I converted, and here I am making myself known...I have a deep love and passion for adventure. From a young age, my hobbies were surfing, jeep and hiking. In 1998 I graduated in Business Organization and Management, and since then I have worked in finance in Lisbon, Azores and Madeira, having surfing, jeep, hiking and mountain biking as a hobby. In 2007... at 35 years old... I gave up the financial area and embraced my great PASSION full time. Since then, I have been "working" in tourism as a tour guide, my specialty is to do tours in 4X4 vehicles, hiking and mountain biking. My first experience with clients in Madeira was on mountain bike and jeep tours and in my free time I went hiking all over the island. For that reason, it allows me to get to know the island like no one else...Since 2007, I have been working in this area for several companies, having always given 1000% of myself, as if the companies were mine. Since 2019, I have started working 100% alone... a dream come true, with the desire to share the "daily life of the Island" and show our island guests the REAL MADEIRA. My JEEP TOURS in Madeira takes place on a Convertible Vintage Ex-Army Portuguese UMM jeep, completely restored, that can hold 8 passengers or in a Premium Nissan Patrol GR 3.0 di Luxury 5-door with 160hp, that is able to carry 7 passengers. My clients were all looking for genuine experiences and to get away from the beaten path. I tailored every single tour, wasn´t afraid to try something new and always made sure to leave our guests better than I found them. I have developed Safari Tours with the special extra of walking along a small section of ours FAMOUS Less Touristy Levadas. It is a fantastic way of getting to know magnificent landscapes, the Laurissilva forest and picturesque villages. Jeep Safari in Madeira Island is one of things to do at least once in a lifetime!!!
