Afternoon Levada Walk

Cláudio is simply outstanding. Highly personable and focused on client’s enjoyment. A wealth of knowledge about not just the tour/activity at hand, but the island generally. He knows every hidden spot and avoids the crowds. We can’t recommend Cláudio enough.

Wonderful hike with Claudio! We hiked a full day(approximately 9 miles) with some stops along the way to admire the beautiful flowers, foliage, plants and vegetables that were being grown all along the route. It was a strenuous hike, but he is able to modify per one’s ability. It was a fabulous day and the added bonus was fabulous weather along the route.

We spent two glorious days hiking and exploring Madeira with Claudio. We loved that he takes you off the beaten path to local places with local flavors that we would never have found ourselves. The sunrise hike was spectacular and he knows the hiking routes and the timing of when to go so they are less crowded and we could truly immerse ourselves with nature. He is punctual, knowledgeable, thoughtful, conversational and he is so easy to be with. He is also very flexible and each day was very fluid and he was very willing to change plans to accommodate any requests we had. He also is an excellent driver navigating the crazy roads of Madeira. We would highly recommend Claudio. We were a family of four with 21 and 23 year old sons! We can’t wait to come back and hike with Claudio again. Thank you Claudio!

Claudio is fantastic! He is very perceptive and reads his guests well. He matched our energy and was also flexible when weather interrupted our plans. It was like hanging out with a good friend who knows all the great places to go. He is knowledgeable and safe. Best of all he plans the itinerary to beat the crowds. I traveled with my BFF. But now I can't wait to bring my whole family back for more adventures with Claudio. Such a great human and guide!

We had the best time with the best mountain guide. Highly recommend!! Cláudio was so patient with us and knew exaclty where to go. He also knew so much about nature and different kind of stuff. I loved learning more about Madeira and all the stories he told us. There was not a moment that I didn't felt safe. He was equiped with everithing in case of an emergency. I will never forget the stories and everything he thought us. Amazing amazing time !!
