Lima Photo Day Private Tour

This tour was an excellent introduction to Lima. Dan was flexible on the meeting time and number of people in the group, getting a roomier vehicle and an extra guide when we got a larger group. With 2 people, they made sure no one who was slower ever lost the group (and at one point, three of us got a side trip). We got to see parts of Lima we never would have discovered on our own. The guide's relationship with sellers at the market meant we got to try a number of fruits, get explanations on a variety of things for sale, etc. I was also treated to antichuchos and Inka Kola, two things I'd wanted to try.

Dan is an excellent photographer and he showed me many locations around Lima where I was able to get some nice images. As we walked he gave me tips on photographing in Peru. He took me off the beaten path in search of images. All in all, it was a great photographic experience. If you're looking for a photography guide in Peru I highly recommend Dan.

I had a brilliant time with the affable Dan, ably assisted by his excellent driver. The tour of Lima offered me everything that I had hoped for and so much more. The sites we visited ranged from the major tourists spots (including the very impressive cathedral), to the market, a bohemian district and the fascinating fisherman's wharf. There were ample opportunities to take a break for a chat over a cold drink or a coffee, and our lunch in a Chifa was one of the highlights of the tour. Thanks Dan!
