Hi, my name is Edgar, very nice to meet you! I'm from Lima city and I've been working here as a licensed tour guide for 7 years now. Guiding and sharing small details, as well as highlights of my country, culture, and traditions to visitors from all over the world is more than just a job to me, it is one of my life's greatest passions. I'm very proud of my heritage since I consider myself as a half indigenous and half spanish descendant. On my tours, I always like to outline and focus not only on the Inca Society (one of the greatest in this part of the world back in the day )but also I focus on the Pre - Inca civilizations as there were many; in that way, you will have a better understanding about our past and historical background. Our history is very old, unique, and diverse, every epoch of it has its own enchantment and that's why it's so interesting On the other hand, my hobbies are spending time with people I love, friends and relatives, watching movies and documentaries; and listening to rock, pop, and some hip-hop music. I enjoy nature too, so every once in a while I take a family trip to the mountains in Peru, which is so relaxing anf peacefull. And last but not least, I also like to meet new people from all over and learn about their culture and traditions, so during your stay in Lima, you will not only find a tour guide in me but also a friend. Come and visit my country, we are going to spend a nice and customized time together! I'm an Official licensed tour guide by the Peruvian Ministry of Tourism I have a degree at Tourism by Cepea Specialized Tourism School. Educated at Icpna , specialized languages school I'm not allowed to pick you up from a cruise ship since independent tour guides currently are not allowed into the docking zone at Callao port. In that case you can contact me to organize a safe and nice meeting point.

You're staying some days in Lima and would like to do something different? Visit southern Peru! There's a place where called Ica, located at 3 1/2 hours from lima heading south that is full of history. It is home of ancient pre -Inkan civilizations such as the Paracas culture , the Nazca Culture (Nazca lines) that developed more than 1800 years ago . Also in Ica we can find the famous and beautiful Ballestas Islands. It's a natural protected area inhabited by sea lion colonies, seabirds, penguins and; if there's some luck, even dolphins can be seen. Ica Region is very famous for its hot weather, nice people, wine production , its huge 370 meter sand dunes (about 1210 ft ) where people go to enjoy the the sun , ride dune buggies and do sandboarding!. There are local vineyards too where pisco (liquor made from distilled grapes) is elaborated. So a after having enjoyed this beautiful place and its different features, our adventure ends at your accommodation
