Our first stop during this historical site tour will be at the ruins of "Old Panama, " the first city on the Central American Isthmus founded by the Spanish and later plundered by the famous pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. You will enjoy the Panamanian food in one of the local restaurants El Trapiche. We will travel through a scenic and modern part of the city in route to the Colonial city "Casco Antiguo" (Old Quarters), built in 1673. Isla Grande & Isla Mamey Highlights - Full Day Tour in Panama

Let's go on an adventure amongst clear waters and across the Colón district, including the Old Fort of Portobelo. Besides seeing this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll be able to jump into the warm, blue waters that surround the islands we'll be visiting, so bring a swimsuit!

You should know that in between the main 2 islands, there's a piece of land inhabited by monkeys. They sometimes are at plain sight, but sometimes they're deeper inland, so although this tour won't guarantee to come across them since we must respect their habitats, there's still a distinct possibility that we'll visualize some!

In the last island we'll visit, we'll go to a restaurant to enjoy genuine local food. Both the venue where we'll eat as well as the boat we'll sail on, are mainly used by the locals, so you'll go back with memories of an experience that besides being lots of fun, is also truly authentic.

We will visit the city's most important places (which make this city a unique one, with so many contrast). We will stop at the colonial city (built in 1673), and pass the modern-day Financial Banking Center and comercial shopping áreas. Afterward we will drive on the Coast-way (which join the mainland with the 3 islands that were heavily-fortified wartime U. S. Military defense outpost at the Pacific Ocean entrance of the Canal) weather permitting we will go to the Ancon Hill (the city's highest elevation point).

Here we will have a bird's-eye-view of the Capital City, as well as Miraflores Locks in the distance. We will visit the Panama Canal's "Miraflores Visitors Center".
