We had a great day with Juan touring around the Old City, the canal, and downtown. Juan is super knowledgeable and does a great job of being informative without going into excessive detail. Would highly recommend him as a tour guide.
Great experience. Juan José tailored the tour to our interests. We visited places beyond the tourist circuit so we got to know the authentic city life. The visit to the canal is the less private part of the tour because of the crowds but necessary to learn the history of the canal and its operation. After this tour we felt more comfortable exploring the city on our own.
Juan Jose was flexible, knowledgable, friendly, laid back, and a delight.
The all day tour that Juan customized based our input was great. Juan was knowledgeable about the history of Panama City and the Panama Canal and he was great spotting and knowing birds, animals, and plants. His choice for lunch Maagoo's was excellent.
Juan Jose was an excellent choice for our first exposure to Panama City. He was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and very easy going. He crafted us a tour that hit all the city highlights we wanted to see, shared with us his knowledge of the history of Panama, Panama City, the life and culture of the country. We will definitely go back to do additional tours with him, especially the nature tours as he is an avid bird watcher and seemed to intimately know the animals and birds of the country.
Juan Jose was always focused on our particular interests, on what we wanted to see and do, and how to manage that. Can't ask for more.
