The San Blas island chain is made up of 360 of small palm fringed islands. This is a pristine habitat that is inhabited by the indigenous Guna Indians. The San Blas day tour begins with transportation from Panama City to Carti in one 4×4 off road vehicle. This is the only transport available into the San Blas for a San Blas day tour. The pick up in Panama City is between 5:50 am to 6:00 am. (Ask for the upgrade Private Boat and depart later). The journey to Carti on the San Blas island mainland is around 2. 5 hours through Panama's spectacular jungle highland. During your San Blas day tour you will normally visit two islands including Isla Perro and the ship wreck where there are many opportunities to snorkel the wreck and surrounding reefs or if you prefer just relax in the shallows. The San Blas of the islands tour will finish around 4pm, then you will be transported in a 4×4 vehicle back to Panama City, you will arrive back in Panama City between 6 and 7pm normally.

Our day trip to San Blas with Adsdrubal was delightful. He picked us up well equipped for all of our needs for the long day including beach chairs and mats, water, sodas, beer, snacks, toilet paper and even a first aid kit! He was informative and attentive to anything we might need. Ricardo, our driver, was courteous, pleasant and drove safely. Adsdrubal was very knowledgeable about the San Blas Islands (and Panama in general) as well as the indigenous people (Guna Yala). We highly recommend him.
