Hi, I’m Simon! I was born and raised in Oslo, and I’d love to show you around my hometown. I’m in my twenties, and I’m so passionate about the showing this city as the vibrant capital it is. Outside of being a local guide, I work as a freelancer in film production, and I love exploring Oslo’s arts scene. I’m also a very interested in architecture, and find inspiration for my projects in the very diverse districts of the city. In my free time, I enjoy diving into Oslo’s nightlife, where there’s always something exciting happening. I’ve always had a love for storytelling, which is what led me to guiding. As a film enthusiast with a degree in film production, I enjoy showing guests the filming locations of famous Norwegian films and TV shows, while I'm also very well versed in more traditional historical, architectural and lifestyle facts. My tours are designed to offer an insider’s perspective, mixing both history and modern-day Oslo, giving visitors a local's view of the city. Travellers too often explore just the historical city centre, but I’m here to show you why it’s one of the coolest, most vibrant cities around as soon as you visit the surrounding districts too! From the unique blend of classical and modernist architecture to the energy you feel in its bars, museums and local stores, Oslo is a place where every corner offers something special. On my tours, I want you to feel the city’s actual pulse, and I’m happy to take you to hidden gems outside the usual tourist areas. I’d love to help you create a one-of-a-kind, customized experience. Whether you're looking to dive into Oslo’s cultural scene, explore its nightlife, or walk in the footsteps of film history, I’ll make sure your tour reflects what makes this city so unique, and what you enjoy seeing and exploring. Let’s discover Oslo together!

Have you ever dreamt of walking the same streets as your favourite film and TV characters? Now is your chance! This walking tour will take you to the filming locations of your favourite Oslo-based films or TV-shows. We'll visit the teenage hangout spots of the characters in SKAM, the romantic parks and streets of Worst Person in the World, and futuristic cityscapes from international blockbusters like Tenet. Best of all, you can choose yourself which films or shows you're interested in. I have a degree in film and television studies from NTNU, a leading norwegian university, and a deep connection to the film scene in Oslo. I'll fill in with trivia and insight into how the film industry lives and thrives in this scenic city!
This tour is very customisable, and we'll make sure to visit the locations of the films and shows you love! However, here's some of the recommended stops: - Modern Tjuvholmen, as seen in Christopher Nolan's Tenet - Gamlebyen skatepark, where SKAM-characters Isak and Eva had their talk - Oslo city opera, as seen in Joachim Trier's Thelma - The Barcode district, where Worst Person in the World's Julie and Eivind share their first kiss - The botanical garden and streets of Grønland, explored in the 2025 Berlin film festival winner Dreams. The tour will be around 3 hours, which means we can cover most locations in the city centre, just tell me which film you're interested in the most!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
This is a walking tour, so good footwear and clothing according the weather is a must! We'll mostly keep to the city centre, which is more than less fully accessible.
