My name is Lene, I'm 59 years old and born in Oslo. I'm educated as an engineer with a degree within economics, and got my diploma as an Authorized Oslo Guide in the year 2000. I have worked with tourists for 26 years now, and my favorite tours are the customized ones. I love to show my city and the sorrundings from all different angles - through history and storytelling, foodtasting, museums and streetart, crime- and ghostwalks, and everything that has to do with nature (walks, hikes and bicycle tours). I'm passionate about my work, and love getting in contact with people from all over the world. I like to tell the history in my way, sharing personal stories from my own life and my parents / grandparents life (I'm the 3.generation from Oslo). Funny or horrible stories are also a part of it, so that you maybe remember something when you come home... :) In Norway you need a professional driver license to drive guests for payment. My tours are either by public transportation, by foot or bike, or we can hire a car with a driver.

Do you want to experience a walk in the Norwegian forest? To see the beautiful nature, visit a cottage with freshly baked food, and search for the Norwegian trolls? Or is it more exciting with a street-art walk in a non-turistical part our city? To see the difference between the east and the west? It's also nice to go crazy among our museums, f. ex visit four of them at the peninsula Bygdøy. Here you find the Norwegian Heritage museum, the FRAM museum and the Kontiki museum. And maybe combine this with at lunch at the little island, Lille herbern, with the shortest ferry-trip in Norway? Or what about a ghost-walk, in the old city?? You descide!
Suggested itinerary: The streetart walk is quite new, because until recently we have had zero tolerance politics towards tagging, grafitti and outdoor wall paintings in our capital. Now they have opened up, and the tour will give you another perspective of our city, listening to the voices of the street. . Or choose upon customization the following itineraries: A walk in the forest is a very autentic experience, because this is how we often spend our sparetime in Norway. We can walk on foot, go by bicycle or by cross county skies. I'll tell you about the nature and our fairytales, while we enjoy food outside or at one of our cottages. The museum trip is a nice dig into our polar/adventure history, and a visit to the first open air museum in the world! The ghost walk takes you to the dark and horrible side of the oldest parts of Oslo, including the Akershus fortress; suitable for both adults and children
