My name is Rami, and I’m an authorized Oslo guide and professional driver. Although I wasn’t born in Norway, this country has truly become my home over the years. As a schoolboy, I was fascinated by the stories of polar explorers—especially Roald Amundsen and Fridtjof Nansen. Norway felt like a distant, almost mythical place back then. Today, I have the privilege of living here, guiding guests through the very streets connected to those stories, and even standing at the helm of the legendary Fram, the ship that reached both poles. I’d be happy to take you on a journey through time—from the Viking Age to modern Oslo—sharing both the well-known history and the smaller, local stories that bring the city to life. I hold the following degrees: Associate Engineer (Bachelor) in Photography and Digital Media from Hadassah College, Jerusalem Master’s degree in International Business and Marketing from Lauder Business School, Vienna

Jews and Oslo. . . Do they have anything in common? As it turns out, yes, and quite a lot! You are invited to a guided tour of Oslo's Jewish history conducted by a member of Oslo's Jewish community. The route takes you through the central street of Oslo, where once there were numerous Jewish stores and monuments that are in some way part of the Jewish history of Norway. The uniqueness of the tour is that the center of Oslo has never been a "Jewish". However, here as nowhere else in the city, walking down just one street you can learn the whole history of this minority in Norway. As an extension of the tour, it maybe possible to visit the only Oslo synagogue. Jewish Museum is close for the long term renovation. Keep in mind that both places are not always open to the public.
He was so informative about Oslo Jewish history and personal Jewish experiences. Highly recommended
The subject matter of our tour was difficult but Rami did an excellent job in educating and communicating. He was so transparent with us and acco o dating. His English is excellent. Highly recommend him
The tour provider was on time, communicated effectively and showed a great deal amount of knowledge of the material. He was personable and worked with with the tour provider from the previous day so that we did not see the same thing in Oslo twice. If you have any interest in the Jewish History you will enjoy this tour.
Rami provided a sobering look at the Jewish experience in Oslo. Using photos and a personal narrative, he weaved together the lows and highs of Jewish life in the past, and in the present. He took great care to provide for the needs of our group. Chuck M.
Definitely worthwhile if you have an interest in Jewish history. There's not that much of it in Norway perhaps compared to some other European countries, but Rami covers it all very nicely. He was very accommodating in terms of scheduling and adapting our trip to the needs of the group. We learned a lot about Norway and Norway's Jewish history. Rami is not originally Norwegian, so he has a very objective perspective on the country.
Rami was an excellent tour guide! Knowledgeable of both the Jewish history and wartime experience. Very helpful with other tips for making our Oslo experience memorable. Thank you!!

It’s primarily a walking tour, but I can replace part of it with a bus ride if needed. Overall, I’d describe it as light to moderate, depending on your preference and pace.
