Hi, I’m Simon! I was born and raised in Oslo, and I’d love to show you around my hometown. I’m in my twenties, and I’m so passionate about the showing this city as the vibrant capital it is. Outside of being a local guide, I work as a freelancer in film production, and I love exploring Oslo’s arts scene. I’m also a very interested in architecture, and find inspiration for my projects in the very diverse districts of the city. In my free time, I enjoy diving into Oslo’s nightlife, where there’s always something exciting happening. I’ve always had a love for storytelling, which is what led me to guiding. As a film enthusiast with a degree in film production, I enjoy showing guests the filming locations of famous Norwegian films and TV shows, while I'm also very well versed in more traditional historical, architectural and lifestyle facts. My tours are designed to offer an insider’s perspective, mixing both history and modern-day Oslo, giving visitors a local's view of the city. Travellers too often explore just the historical city centre, but I’m here to show you why it’s one of the coolest, most vibrant cities around as soon as you visit the surrounding districts too! From the unique blend of classical and modernist architecture to the energy you feel in its bars, museums and local stores, Oslo is a place where every corner offers something special. On my tours, I want you to feel the city’s actual pulse, and I’m happy to take you to hidden gems outside the usual tourist areas. I’d love to help you create a one-of-a-kind, customized experience. Whether you're looking to dive into Oslo’s cultural scene, explore its nightlife, or walk in the footsteps of film history, I’ll make sure your tour reflects what makes this city so unique, and what you enjoy seeing and exploring. Let’s discover Oslo together!

The tour was fantastic! Simon has perfect English, and he knows a lot of interesting details about Oslo's history. Strongly recommended.
Simon did a terrific job customizing our walking tour of Oslo. Kept a good pace, allowed for rest stop when needed, and got us back within sight of our cruise ship at the end. He is not only very knowledgeable but has a very engaging manner and we enjoyed speaking with him regarding politics, sports, and culture in Norway.
Simon was a great guide for our walking tour of Oslo. We learned a lot about the “rebirth” of the city, the royal family, how the City Center was moved, Norwegian culture and traditions. It was the perfect morning to kick off our few days in Oslo. The pace was great too. Our group of 4 all were happy and would recommend Simon to anyone visiting the city
