I'm passionate about adventure, Mayan heritage, Mexican culture, and good food. I've been on an exhilarating ride exploring every corner of the Riviera Maya as a tour guide for over 15 years now! But let's rewind a bit: I was born and raised in Mexico City and I used to dream of becoming President as a kid! However, as I grew up, I realized that formal office life just wasn't my cup of tea. Suits, closed shoes, and computer screens weren't my style. . . I was born to be on a different stage and create memories! Even when I was a camp counselor, my favorite moments were when we put on fire shows and played. Life had a funny way of guiding me into the world of hospitality. I arrived in the Riviera Maya just for a short summer gig when I stumbled upon a tour guiding opportunity. Three years turned into more, and before I knew it, I had become an expert at doing what I love the most, showing travelers the magnificent jungle and the secrets it holds. For me, being a Tour Leader is not just about showcasing the beauty of nature; it's also about fostering respect for our environment. Learning from the past helps us better understand our present, encountering different ways of living in the world can make people more conscious and better individuals by creating empathy and striving for positive change in the world, and I believe in promoting responsible travel practices. Personally, before my journey on this planet ends, I'm determined to embark on a long hiking adventure +20 days, bike my way through as many landscapes as I can, and take on one of those legendary long races in the middle of nowhere.
