Chichen Itza and EK Balam - Private Tour

This is an excellent tour and Diego was a great guide! Getting to see Chichen Itza and Ek Balam in the same day was amazing. They are very different experiences and we really wanted to be able to see both of them. Diego gave us so much information (but not too much!) and really made the sites come to life. Having a guide by our side was invaluable. He made everything easy for us. We did not have to worry about logistics and just got to enjoy the experiences.

Diego is an exceptional guide. His detailed explanations at Chichén Itzá completely transformed the experience. Without him, we would have simply glanced around and taken photos, but instead we truly learned and understood the site. We also visited Ek Balam, where Diego explained the intricate details and meaning behind the carvings and etchings, which made the ruins come alive. The private tour was absolutely worth the cost. Diego helped us save time by going early, well before the crowds, making the experience relaxed and enjoyable. His background as an anthropologist really shows in his depth of knowledge and passion. Highly recommend Diego to anyone wanting a meaningful, educational visit—not just a photo stop.

Our group of 9 were thrilled to spend the day with our guide Diego Viadero touring Chichen Itza and EK Balam. His knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing his love of these impressive archaeological sites provided us with an opportunity to experience these sites in a way we never expected. He impressed everyone in our group with his ability to bring the past to life and to make our entire experience so memorable. His love for what he does was evident in his professionalism and his charm. He took great photos of our group too - you can't go wrong!

We had the best day with Diego and his driver (Philippe) ? in Chichén Itzá , Ek Balam and Valladolid . Diego knows so much and we were like spunges trying to absorb it all. He makes it easy and will talk and answer any questions. Also if you are into birds he knows them as well. He has a pointer that helps when looking at the ruins and also spotting birds. Diego takes the time to take pics so no dreaded attempt at selfies needed. We had the best lunch with the greatest company plus an extra coconut sorbet after in the city square. He knows the best place to take pics as well.

What a great tour! Highly recommend Diego and his company. extremely knowledgable and pleasant. I can’t imaging seeing these amazing sights any other way! A private and personable tour is the way to go. Would gladly tour with Diego again,

Diego was so full of knowledge that it brought us a much deeper understanding and appreciation of both ancient sites. Comfortable Benz Sprinter van with Diego and driver. He had lots of delicious snacks and plenty of cold bottled water. We also had one of our best meals during our entire trip during lunch at Valladolid-- Diego's suggestions were spot on. The tour was very well worth the money.
