Since I can remember, I have been traveling around my country, México, and I've developed a big love and pride for this beautiful place! My Mom is from Mexico City and my first 25 years I spent them there, but my Dad is from the south east of Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula. All my childhood we used to travel there and visit my grandma and the rest of the family. I remember we tryed to trvel each vacations we could, easter, summer, Christmas and new year and alway traveling by car, so we were visiting a lot beautiful places and diferent landscapes on the way. Now I want to share my joy with you and be your host and guide during your visit. It's very important for me to help visitors experience México the way a local would. Degree in Tourism Business Administration at UVM (Universidad del Valle de México school) Degree in General Tourist Guide at ENAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History)and certified as Tour Guide in Spanish, French and English. Let me take you to visit this beautiful archaeological zone situated on a cliff of the Caribbean Sea that in ancient times was an important commercial port. Tulum was a major Mayan citie of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Considered a trade route and place to exploit the rich marine resources off the coast of Quintana Roo. Some researchers argue that during its peak, Tulum was a highly relevant link between land and sea trade. I will also show you the most beautiful cenote in the area and, while we are swiming, I will tell you all about why those formations were considered sacred for ancient Mayas.
Rosalia gave us exactly the tour we wanted, customized to our interests and abilities. From the on-time pick-up at our hotel until we (sadly) parted company every aspect of our tour was perfect. Rosalia is so well-informed about so many things it was a pleasure to be with her. She handled all the little details so we could enjoy our visit with no worries. I highly recommend a tour with her.
Rosalia was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable about the Mayan history and the ruins in Tulum. She and Omar were amazing hosts to our cenote visit. We had a lot of fun and would highly recommend!
Rosalia and Omar were a fantastic team. Timely pick up at our hotel, our ride driven by Omar was roomy and clean and he was an excellent driver. There were potential issues with our snorkel part of the excursion due to seaweed, but Rosalia already had thought ahead just in case with an alternative. (We did snorkel at Yal Ku). The day was wonderful. Our family very much enjoyed this tour. Finally one thing we really loved is both Rosalia and Omar participated in both the snorkel and cenote swim which we thought was super cool for guides. I would definitely recommend this tour again to couples, singles and families (better for older children). Thank you both so much for a memorable day!
Rosalia was wonderful- highly recommend her as a guide! She was flexible with breakfast as our son is autistic and struggles with restaurants. She took us to an amazing roadside taco truck instead. Knowledgeable of Mayan culture and all around thoughtful person. She also chose a cenote that was not overcrowded. A great experience!
Our tour with Rosalia was amazing. This was our first excursion thru tours by locals. We are a family with three kids (7,10, and 15), one of which has autism. Rosalia was kind and responsive from the first contact we made with her. We changed our itinerary to meet our family's needs and Rosalia was very flexible and accommodating. When we met her in person she was engaging and super knowledgeable. She was patient with us and our children. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Best tour for the money!
