Coba, Amazing Cenote and Monkey Biosphere

It's impossible to say enough good things about Diego (and his driver Eric!) and our experiences at the Coba ruins, underground cenote, homemade lunch/tour with an amazing Mayan family, and ziplining/canoeing at the monkey sanctuary. Even the drive was enjoyable as Diego could have been a professor of archaeology with his extensive knowledge. When our 3-year-old got a minor injury, Diego went above and beyond to take care of us. We loved seeing and supporting the local communities. Best part of our trip!

Diego was a fantastic tour guide! Our family of 4, with two kids aged 14 and 10, had a fabulous time! Diego is so knowledgable, passionate about the subject matter he shares, and is able to engage with the interests and curiosity of each member of the group. We loved learning about and exploring the Coba ruins, visiting an incredible animal sanctuary, having an absolutely delicious lunch with a local Mayan family, diving in a cenote, and visiting a spectacular monkey sanctuary. It was an awesome day!

A really enjoyable day with Diego. I am not sure how our family of four fitted in a tour of Coba, a nature tour (including Mexican bees and honey!) and fab lunch at a Mayan house (freshly baked tortillas and a great chilli oil), a terrifying six metre jump and swim in a Cenote (with hardly anyone else there), a hike through jungle to see spider and howling monkeys, a canoe across a jungle lake, a zip wire across the lake and a final Mayan blessing ceremony, all in a day!

The six of us had a exceptional full day with Diego. He changed the tour slightly for us because one of us needed to use a cane and he wanted to make going swimming in the cenote easier for us so - thoughtful and accommodating. Meeting the Mayan family, having lunch at their house and seeing the project they are doing to protect endangered species was a highlight of the tour..and oh yes, zip lining was lots of fun too.

Awesome tour with Diego! We had such a great time in Coba. We went to places we would have not find without a true local. I highly recommend Diego!

Diego IS fantastic! Warm, friendly, charming, organized and extremely knowledgeable. He planned a fantastic day for our group and was able to educate both adults and kiddos alike about his beautiful country. So much fun!!
